01About these terms
These Terms of Service govern your use of the website and customer-support platform provided by SlimDesk, based in Hong Kong. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. The service is intended for businesses and the people they authorize to use a workspace.
You can contact SlimDesk at [email protected]. A person accepting these terms on behalf of a business must have authority to bind that business. If a separately signed agreement conflicts with these terms, the signed agreement controls to the extent of the conflict.
02Accounts and workspace responsibilities
Provide accurate account information, protect credentials, and keep workspace access up to date. You are responsible for the people you authorize to access your workspace and for their use of the service.
Notify SlimDesk promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. Do not impersonate another person, misrepresent your authority, or share access in a way that compromises another workspace.
03Use of the service
SlimDesk provides tools for customer conversations, customer records, and simple follow-up tickets. You may use the service for your lawful business support activities, subject to these terms and any applicable plan or separate agreement.
Do not use the service to send unlawful or abusive content, distribute malware, conduct unauthorized marketing, infringe others’ rights, obtain unauthorized access, disrupt the service, or bypass access controls. Security testing requires appropriate authorization.
04Your content and permissions
You retain your rights in the content you submit. You authorize SlimDesk to host, process, transmit, and display that content to the extent necessary to operate the service and carry out your workspace instructions.
You are responsible for having the rights and lawful grounds needed to submit customer information and communicate with customers. Do not submit information you are not authorized to use. SlimDesk does not acquire ownership of your customer conversations or tickets.
05Privacy and customer data
The Privacy Policy explains the handling of personal information. Workspace businesses are responsible for their customer notices, lawful processing instructions, and responses to customer rights requests.
Where required, an appropriate data-processing agreement must govern the processing of customer information on your behalf. These general terms do not replace that agreement or authorize processing beyond applicable law.
06Connected services
Connecting a third-party channel requires authorization to use the relevant account and compliance with that provider’s rules. You authorize the exchanges of information necessary for the integration you choose to enable.
Third-party availability, permissions, technical limits, and policies can affect delivery and access. A reference to a channel or planned feature is not a guarantee that it is available in every workspace or will remain available indefinitely.
07Plans and payment
If you select a paid offering, its price, billing frequency, applicable taxes, renewal conditions, cancellation process, and any refund terms must be disclosed before you agree to purchase it. Any accepted order or subscription terms apply to that purchase.
This page does not establish a price, authorize a charge, promise a free trial, or impose an automatic renewal. Mandatory payment and consumer rights under applicable law remain unaffected.
08Service changes and availability
The service may change as it develops, and access may be interrupted by maintenance, security incidents, infrastructure problems, or third-party outages. Unless separately agreed, no particular uptime level, response time, or future feature is promised.
Material changes affecting an existing paid commitment should be handled in accordance with that commitment and applicable law. Keep independent copies of information that is important to your business.
09Suspension and ending use
Access may be restricted when reasonably necessary to address unlawful use, a material breach, a security threat, or a legal requirement. Notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue should be provided where practicable, except when immediate action is needed.
You may stop using the service. Ending use does not itself cancel a separately agreed paid subscription; follow the cancellation procedure disclosed for that subscription. Coordinate any needed data retrieval before workspace closure. Data handling after closure is subject to the Privacy Policy, applicable instructions, and legal obligations.
10SlimDesk intellectual property
SlimDesk retains rights in the service, its software, design, and branding, other than content owned by you or third parties. Access to the service does not transfer those rights. You must not reproduce or distribute protected parts of the service without permission or another lawful basis.
11Warranties and responsibility
Use reasonable care when reviewing messages, assignments, and tickets. The service cannot ensure that every customer message is delivered or that every issue is resolved.
Except for express commitments in an applicable agreement and to the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available without a guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing in these terms excludes liability, warranties, remedies, or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Each party remains responsible for its obligations and liabilities under applicable law and any separately agreed terms.
12Disputes, changes, and contact
Questions or disputes should first be raised with the SlimDesk operator so the parties can try to resolve them. These terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong, and the courts of Hong Kong have non-exclusive jurisdiction over disputes. This does not limit any mandatory protections or rights to bring proceedings that apply under the law of your place of residence.
We will communicate material updates before they take effect and obtain additional acceptance where required. A change does not retrospectively remove rights that have already accrued. For questions about these terms, contact SlimDesk in Hong Kong at [email protected].
